Founded on April 14, 1912, Santos FC is one of the most successful clubs in Brazilian football history. They have won eight Brasileirão titles, holding the record alongside Palmeiras, and were recognized by FIFA as one of the most successful clubs of the 20th century. The club's trophy cabinet also includes 22 Paulistão titles, 3 Copa Libertadores titles, 2 Intercontinental Cups, and 1 Copa do Brasil. Santos is particularly famous for its "Golden Decade" in the 1960s, led by the legendary Pelé.
